Solar generation upload when monitoring down

Recently there have been a few instances where my monitoring has been down and as a result the solar generation upload has been a flat line.

Is it worth looking to disable the upload in such circumstances, or does the algorithm recognise when upload quality is compromised? Is it best to maintain a continuous upload history (even of data quality is compromised) or to only upload quality data (and thus have gaps)?

The tuning algorithm will disregard values that do not appear valid based on the cloud data. There is no benefit to maintaining the upload history, it would be better to leave gaps rather than using the compromised data.
